Amaravati Final Master Plan Released
Amaravati Final Master Plan was released by Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister Narayana & CRDA secretary Ajay Jain. The Andhra Pradesh government has notified the Amaravati final master plan, the 217-sq-km new capital region, today. The land pooling plan contains micro details such as land use, infrastructure and zoning for the 29 villages in the capital region. Most of the objections that was raised by land pooling farmers were regarding roads in capital city Amaravati. Farmers requested not to destroy their houses for construction of the roads. Changes were made to Amaravati master plan keeping farmers concerns and made necessary changes. The number of houses that has to be evacuated has been decreased to 360 from 3600. CRDA accepts objections from farmers for next 30 days. CRDA officials has conducted workshop on Amaravati master plan and its been changed based on suggestions.
