Amaravati: CM Chandrababu Naidu asked officials to prepare for land pooling second phase while chairing the 10th Authority meeting of CRDA at the Interim Government Complex in Velagapudi on Friday. APCRDA would soon be launching the land pooling second phase for 14,000 acres needed for for the Inner Ring Road in the capital region in July. CRDA would pool lands under Harichandra Puram, Vaddamanu, Pedda Parimi and part of Tadikonda (Inside Inner Ring) for second phase under land pooling.

In the meeting, it was decided that Norman Fosters and Partners, presently engaged in preparing master plan for administrative city (918 acres), would also prepare the master plan and design buildings for the Justice city to be constructed in 454 acres. Norman Foster and partners would be called on board as architect for integrated design development of Secretariat and HOD buildings in Amaravati Government Complex.

According to the evaluation process carried out by McKinsey & Company, there were a few final bidders for establishment of schools and hotels in Amaravati. However, the CM asked the CRDA and research analysts to form committee and make a list of top 50 franchises (Nationally and internationally acclaimed schools and hotels), contact and invite them to set base in Amaravati.

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) has proposed to engage with APCRDA as the sustainability consultant for the implementation of green buildings and sustainable habitats in Amaravati. The CM approved the same during the meeting.

Administrative approval was given to NTR Sujala pathakam to provide affordable, safe and potable drinking water to every household in the capital city of Amaravati. The unit would be located in Venkatapalem. Officials of Amaravati Development Corporation apprised the CM of the progress being made with regard to Seed Access Road and seven priority roads.

CM also gave his approval to the Commissioner to nominate AP government officials to undertake Technical Training Program in Japan under under The Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (HIDA).
